A Mountain Drive and a New Dog

After dropping off Maddyson at the airport, we decided to take a drive up to the mountains.  :)  We figured on seeing lots of curvy roads, great views, and cooler temperatures . . . we didn't realize we would find a national and state park with lots of trails, cool mountain streams, and camping spots.  More to explore in NM!!!  & this is about 5 miles from downtown Santa Fe.  AWESOME!!  :)

The water was a little on the chilly side . . . 

 Since our yard is a little bit bigger, well a lot bigger, Cami had been hoping she could have her very own little dog.  We found Sam at the local shelter--he has fit in with our family perfectly.  He looks a little like our Kay too . . .

 We took him to our favorite trail (thus far)--Grasshopper Trail.  He loves the water (at first--it got too cold after a little bit of time went by).  he-he

He loves Josh, and listens to every word he says, very intently.  :)

Kayden and Cami are official rock climbers now.  :)

Well . . . maybe Sam favors Josh more than Kay . . . hmmmmmm.
