Top of the Butte

We decided to hike the butte this past Saturday.  The trail was not bad.  We did wear spikes though--I didn't slip once.  :). The butte is beautiful on the top--and it did not disappoint that day.  The sun, which we have been getting more of lately, was shining brightly.  Good day to be outside in Alaska.  Cami had work, so she didn't make it up with us.  AND . . . it seems the whole Mat-Su Valley has been dealing with the flu, and Kayden got pink eye on top of everything.  She had to sit this hike out, to rest up a little more.
