All-Stars Tournament

Karston played the championship game in the All-Stars Special Game Tournament last night.  It was an intense game, but we WON (19 to 18)!  The coaches said it wasn’t how they wanted to win, but as a fan, it certainly made it more exciting.  Both teams made their fair share of mistakes, awesome plays, and traded the lead back and forth all night.  The other team at one point had all the bases loaded, two outs, and the guy at bat hit a hard ball straight to left field—Karston caught it and the fans went wild (including his Mom & Dad)!!  If Karston had missed that ball, then the other team would have won for sure.  During one of the times Karston batted, the baseball binged him pretty hard in the chest.  He shook it off, and then ended up stealing every base and home to score a point for his team. We are very proud of Karston, and the Nationals Blue All-Star Team!!
