There's always time . . .

. . . to go to the AIR SHOW!!!

You didn't think we forgot did you?!? Yes, we had to squeeze it in sometime during our busy weekend, we couldn't break Karston's streak of seeing the Blue Angels for the eighth year in a row!!! It was just Karston, Kayden & Mom. We had to travel to Kingsville this past weekend to see the Wings over South Texas Air Show. We have been to the air show every year, plus we saw the Blue Angels in Ft. Worth when Karston was just a month or two old. :) This year we got to sit right beside the Air Force's F-16 Fighting Falcons Demo. team, so needless to say, we got a lot of free Air Force stuff, plus got the pilot of the Viper's signature. Karston & I LOVE the roar of the engines, even though Karston got an extra little laugh out of the fact that he knew his Mom would be getting sick if she actually sat inside one of those bad boy jets!! :) The weather was perfect---it started out a little windy, so the Golden Knights couldn't parachute out with the flag, but that was the only thing that got cancelled. The Tora! Tora! Tora!! reenactment was awesome!! Of course we had seen it before, but never with so much pyrotechnics---it was awesome! Did I say that already?! You definitely can't go to an air show without leaving in awe of our military personnel who not only keep us safe, but preserve our freedoms. Like they said, a soldier made it possible for the protester to burn the American Flag. And unlike the commander in chief, our armed forces believe that this nation is the best in the world!! and we ARE!! Go USA! Go NAVY! Go AIR FORCE! Go ARMY!! & Go MARINES!!!! and THANK YOU especially from the Bright Family!

The Blue Angels take off!!
