Trip to North Carolina
I spent third grade - sixth grade in North Carolina. Some of the best memories of my childhood were born in the smokey mountains. The friends that I had, the schools I was blessed to attend, the most perfect neighborhood to grow up in, and of course the beautiful scenery of the Appalachian Mountains cannot be easily forgotten. So, I took the opportunity to take a most epic road trip East to my childhood home with my kids. I loved being with them, being able to visit our Arkansas family (my sisters - Ginger and Ally), and our North Carolina family as well (my sister - Leigh). My brother, Josh, tagged along as well. Here are some pictures of our trip:
First stop, Ally's new home (they will be Arkansas-ers soon) and Ginger's home.
We spent the night in Nashville, and visited downtown Nashville where music filled the air, as well as good BBQ and country legends everywhere!
Our first stop in Pigeon Forge was the Titanic Museum. The movie is one of our Kayden's favorites, so it was a must. We then were able to enjoy Dolly's Stampede.....well, almost all of us. Cameron started having an allergic reaction to the horses, so she had to go and get fresh air and Benadryl.
DOLLYWOOD!!! (Better than Six Flags, but not Disney.....)
The Biltmore House!
My childhood home...... (it used to be green) :)
