Happy Thanksgiving!!
We had plans to head to Dallas for Thanksgiving . . . but ended up staying home with just us. We definitely missed getting to see everyone, but just getting over colds, and badly needing a day off--having to sit in a car for a . . . long . . . long . . . long time, just wasn’t very appealing. (Yes, we are talking from prior day before Thanksgiving and day after Thanksgiving driving to Dallas traffic experience.) So, we tried to make the best of it . . .
We headed to the bay front to walk the dogs this AM. Dug, our new puppy, is fitting in with our family perfect . . . or is getting there. He has fewer and fewer accidents everyday, we have seen no dog aggression (yeah!), and . . . um . . . he gives us glimpses to the great running dog he will be—glimpses at this point, because when he does get tired or distracted, he just sits down—we are working on that. Dug loves Karston so much! He is his constant buddy, following him around, and wondering what they can get into next. :)
Cameron of course still loves her mut (well my mut, but she has definitely taken Chica over). We do love our pets—we just couldn’t get the other guys out to the park with us this morning (the fish and Double B our guinea pig.)
Karston and Dug rolling down the hill . . .
The eyes of a fierce Chihuahua! AHHHH!
This has become a tradition for our family . . . instead of the regular turkey and dressing, we have gumbo instead. :)
We ended our day by heading to the beach to drink hot chocolate . . .
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
