a trip to big-D
We decided to make our way to big-D this past week. :) I have a sister that lives in Dallas, and she recently had a baby, and we hadn't been there for a loooonnnnggg time (due to the 11 hour nightmarish trip one Thanksgiving), and my other sister Abby & my mom were going to be there, and Josh had a really busy week at work where he had to travel once again . . . sooooooooo, me & the kiddoes decided to head out for a week of fun. :)
The kids had to have a little fun on the journey, thus the pictures of 'Kisses' the beany baby appeared on my camera . . . hmmmmm. The weather was gorgeous on the way up. The sky was so blue, and the clouds were perfectly puffy. :)
We finally got there to meet this precious little girl named Brielle--isn't that a pretty name?! Yes, it is true, I gave Ally & Mike the idea to name her that. :) The name suits her perfect, and she is just so precious & smells just like a baby. Cameron couldn't keep her hands off her, and I think Ally was glad to have a little break. Cameron held her, played with her, cuddled with her, but we never got her to agree to change a diaper. :)
She was so protective of the little one. :) In the picture above, she is shielding the baby's eyes from the camera's flash. Camee is going to be a great mother one day.
Kayden enjoyed playing mommy to Brelynn.
Karston & Bradley played the Wii almost non-stop. They had a lot of fun being together.
Of course I got to play with the baby too!! :)
Thanks Ally & Mike for letting us invade your home on such short notice. :)
We were lucky to help Bradley celebrate his birthday a little early. :)
This is the cutest little girl I have ever seen--her big eyes, her big belly, her spitting--yes, anything she did was just too cute. :) She loves trying on shoes. She had everyone's shoes on sometime during the week.
We all took turns pinning the hat on Mario. Memaw gets a chance above.
Yes, a little goofy---but that's what sisters do right?!?! I love my sisters. :)
I got to braid almost everyone's hair--here's Ally's. :)
Kayden wanted to take a picture of us. :) and . . . um . . . yes . . . there's Camee holding the baby again. :)
Nothing can ever be quite complete (especially during the summer) without a trip to the swimming pool. :)
And if we weren't having a birthday party or playing with the baby or swimming . . . well . . . we were hanging things from the second floor to the first. :)
Thanks again Ally & Mike for such a great few days. :)

Ena & Kayden got to play together too. In the above picture, they had just gotten their hair braided. :)

My Mom & Abs showed up on the day after we got there. Abby made a rockin' Mario cake for Bradley's birthday.
