Today was Cameron's first big time science fair. She had to be at the school at 8:15 this morning, ready to present her project to three judges. She practiced hard for her presentation, and Mom & Dad grilled her on what questions she might be asked. :) She was ready. Cameron felt good about her interviews and her board, but she didn't get in the top three (so we are thinking she was fourth). :) We love our Cameron, and her love for science.
Karston also was judged today, but he didn't have to present since he was in the younger grade levels. This was our first time, and this was a project the students had been working on all year, so we had a little catching up to do since we have only been at SST for a few months now, but Cameron &
Karston did a great job---and we are ready for next year . . . we are already thinking of what they might want to take on. :)

This is Cameron in front of her board with other fourth graders. :)

Cameron did her project on crystals---do they grow better in distilled water or tap water? What do you think? Ask Cameron she knows! :) I'll have to get pictures with
Karston and his board soon---he asked what people liked better sugar
kool-aid or sugar free
kool-aid.
Karston can tell you all about aspartame, & if it really tastes like the real thing. :) I'm glad my kids LOVE science, & that they go to a school where it is celebrated so much!!
