spring breakin' it :)

Have we said we LOVE where we live lately?!?!!  Maybe it hasn't crossed our minds due to the winter weather these last couple of months  . . . but we couldn't resist a trip to the beach this week.  We usually try to stay away from the beach during spring break (due to the many visitors who come), but the perfect summer time weather beckoned us to come to the place we love as a family.  Initially it was just to play in the sand, but the kids couldn't resist the call of the water . . . freezing water that is . . . and spent a lot of the afternoon in the gulf too.  I love spending time with my three kiddoes.  Spring break has taken on a whole new meaning, now that I am working, and I get to be on my kids' school schedule being a teacher---YEAHHH!  I've gotten to clean my house (and take a whole day, just like I used to), and the kids have gotten to play with friends and their mom.  The kids have been wondering why Daddy doesn't get off too?!?  perks of being a teacher.  :)

Kayden couldn't resist making a sand angel (and no she hadn't watched the Bachlor to get the idea).  he-he
