Spring Break . . . Bright Style :)

We have had a great Spring Break. :) In the past couple of years, our Spring Break has consisted of Josh taking the kids on a vacation while I do school work, but for some reason this year, I was all caught up. :) I actually got to rest, read, play in the sand, go shopping, hang with my kiddoes, and spend time with my man. :) We were at Bird Island on Padre Island National Seashore both Saturdays of Spring Break---and then during the week, we were able to go with Josh to McAllen, TX, or the Valley, as we South Texans like to call it. We played in the hotel swimming pool & hot tub. :) We also got to shop at the outlet mall there. And, of course, I came home with a pot made in Mexico. :) (I think I have too many smiley faces in the above paragraph, but oh! well!)
These pictures were taken yesterday on our trip to the island. Josh is still loving windsurfing, and we are loving being with him. My favorite thing to do is read a good book, and take in the good weather, while breaking up a fight here or there between my kiddoes.

Cameron was actually very excited to get IN the water--she couldn't the Saturday before because she had her stitches in, but the doctor gave her a go ahead for this past weekend.
My princess. :)
and my other princess . . . and their castle, built by their brother. :)
Kayden enjoyed feeding the seagulls.
Usually, the drive to the Valley isn't very eventful--it is just plain boring, but this time around (this picture does not do it justice), the wild flowers were unbelievable. This field was covered in yellow flowers, and everything was so green. :)
And then . . . someone decided to take some more pictures with my phone . . .

but I love her anyway . . . .
