busy . . .

We have been . . . busy . . . as usual. :) Here is a little of what we have done.

Karston helped make our jack-o-lantern extra scary. Karston, Kayden & I scooped out all the gooey insides, and carved a face on our pumpkin. (Camee was spending the night at a friend's home.) I painted our door last weekend . . . bright red. :) Josh & I, also installed a new door knob & key less entry. :) The kids have a lot easier time getting in the locked door . . . well, that is, if they remember the code. :( (and . . . yes, the door has been maroon, navy blue, red, navy blue, and now bright red . . . what can I say, I like to change things up) :) This is for Ginger . . . I never posted a picture of my new & improved laundry room, with the washer and dryer I LOVE!! :)
Today, we finally hung Josh's windsurfing boards on the wall, to give us more room in the garage. As you can see, we have everything packed into our garage quite snug. :)

Camee spent the night at a friend's home and didn't go to sleep . . . at ALL. Needless to say, we put a "I love math!" pin on her shirt while she was sleeping & didn't tell her about it until she noticed it at CiCi's Pizza (math isn't her favorite subject). he-he This morning I had to go to a math/science conference, that's where I got the pin. :) We went to CiCi's because Karston filled his warm fuzzy jar, so he got to pick the restaurant we ate at today. :)
Friday morning, I got to take pictures at Building Blocks Pres-School. :) It was a lot of fun . . . & Kira, if you are reading this . . . Max's pictures turned out GREAT!! :) and then Kayden & I headed to Ella Barnes for P-A-R-T-Y!! The PTA had their cookie dough fund raiser, so since we sold sooooo much dough---the kids were rewarded with inflatables & the chance to see their principal kiss a PIG!! :) Ms. Bowers, also, tried out the inflatables too. I think she might kill me for this picture. :)

Here she is kissing the pig . . .

Ms. Webster, Camee's teacher last year, also took a ride down the slide.

And while we waited for the next group of kids . . . Kayden tried out the inflatables herself. :) Except when she tried out the slide, her knee kicked her face and a bloody nose ensued . . . luckily it wasn't broken. :) Well, actually, this is a familiar story from this week . . . Karston came home on the bus Thursday with a bloody nose, someone had accidentally hit him on the bus. And, well . . . accidentally the next day, Karston gave the boy who had hit him, a bloody nose. :(

And just for everyone to know . . . Kayden's best friend, Hailey, had her birthday this week. Happy birthday Hailey!!! Kayden & Hailey got to make cupcakes for her birthday. They weren't allowed to eat them right away, so Hailey's Mom told Kayden she would put a "H" on Hailey's cupcake and a "K" on Kayden's. Kayden told her, "No, my name is Barbie." :) So, we love our little Barbie. :)
