professors and facebook
My professor Wednesday night (I won't tell you his name, he still has to give me an A later in the semester) told the class that cell phones contribute to global warming. He explained that by putting a regular phone in one jar with a digital thermometer and in another jar put a cell phone again with a digital thermometer, that when you activate both of these devices, the regular phone gives off no heat, while the cell phone changes the temperature .35 degrees. He then explained that if everyone on earth just made one call on their cell phone a week, this wouldn't be a big deal, but since we make so many calls using our cell phones that all that extra heat . . . yes . . . adds to global warming. Hmmmmmm . . .
I love to blog, but I've tried to be cool, so I have had a myspace page and facebook page too, but all of a sudden my facebook page is going crazy (in a good way). I lived in North Carolina from third grade to sixth grade--not long, but I made many good friends that I stayed in contact with through high school, but then lost touch. Here recently, my NC friends found me on facebook--it has been so fun getting back in touch with them, seeing what's up with them, and just seeing what they are doing now that they are grown-up. Then, in the last week, my BYU friends found me. :) I was only at BYU for one semester--I met my handsome husband a week before I left & he asked me to marry him when I came home from that first semester at Christmas. A lot of people have asked me if I didn't like BYU or something . . . but it really wasn't that . . . my one semester at BYU was pretty much heaven on earth (celestial kingdom as us Mormons call it). I love my old roommates, and I'm so glad I get to see them now that they are Mommy's or famous acctresses--I've watched every youtube video of Rachel!! :) Fun times.

Me & my roommates . . . uh . . . about . . . 14 years ago.
