The next St. Kitts?!? Maybe!! (in about one year or so, right?!?) Above: Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. :)

OK . . . OK . . . I know boring political post won't keep you reading, so I'll leave it at that. :) But if you do want to take part in political ramblings, I have a new blog, see the link on the right hand side. he-he

Just to catch you up on the Bright Family . . . we have been busy. We are slowly getting back into the routine of Mom and the kids back in school. I really have it easier this semester. I only go to school twice a week at night and T/Th mornings for one class. And, yes, Spanish II has started--ugh!! So, I guess you get to hear me complain for about 3 more months . . . and then there will be a big no more Spanish party!!!! he-he My other classes are really interesting and fun--learning to be a teacher classes. In one of my classes I get to make a floor plan for my future classroom, spending at least $20,000--yea baby!!!

Kayden had a wonderful day yesterday. She got to go to the Texas State Aquarium with Ms. Shirley & Sophie. Then, she headed to the beauty shop to get a new hair do--Dora style of course. (she didn't want to go get her hair cut, until I told her she could get it cut like Dora's hair) :) And, then to top it off, I got her a happy meal. Yes, her day was complete!! :)

She didn't want to pose for the paparazzi today.

And . . . yesterday, when I went to pick up the kids from school--the school was in 'lock down mode'. Yes, because of the above picture. Two coyotes had been seen roaming near campus. Kayden & I braved the area to go and rescue Cami & Karston!! We all made it back to the car alive, with not even a scratch!! Hearing and seeing coyotes is not new for us, they live behind our house--howling all night. But, we feel pretty safe with our big German Shepherd in the backyard. She would gladly beat up a coyote (she hates any other thing resembling a dog). Maybe we will take Emma with us tomorrow to pick up Cami & Karston!!! :)

That is a mean looking coyote. I walked to pick the kids up yesterday, so we were a bit worried about walking home, but we made it there safely.

Good luck with Spanish.
If you need help with Spanish--you can call Mama! :) or Sister Mickelson! :) I enjoyed your book--Sister Micekelson.

Yes, take Emma with you when you pick up cami and Karston today. We have coyotes in our area too. We live on a bluff above a river so we have all kinds of gritters coming up into our yard from time to time. We had two big racoons eating Heidi's food last week. Heidi is our 100 pound German Shephard. What did she do???? Nothing... I guess she likes to have company for dinner.

Buenos suerte con su clase de espanol. I hope all goes well for you in class.

I've seen coyotes in that area before. Spooky! I'm glad no one was hurt. I love Kayden's new Dora-doo. Cute!!
