Playing Ketchup!! :)
Yes, we have been a busy family, & I've been lagging in the blog world, but no longer . . . well, yeah right . . . but in the midst of finals, getting ready for Christmas, taking pictures, and another load of clothes--I have a very special daughter who keeps things real . . .
2. I had a great birthday!!!! Of course I had a picture of my cake, but . . . um . . . upon closer inspection I noticed a little girl naked as a 'blue jay' in the background. I'll have to do some black dot editing before you can see the pictures of my cake. My little ones all made me cards, & Kaykay sang to me all week as we walked the aisles of HEB. "Happy Birthday to Mommy!" I also got to go on a double date with my husband and our good friends Sarah & Tommy Sutton. Sarah & I dragged our husbands (almost kicking and screaming) to see Twilight. :) Josh also wrote me a very nice letter & let me pick out my present--a new watch!! Jocelyn surprised me with movie tickets & a free babysitter, which we cashed in this past weekend. I have never been to the movies as much as I have lately--and man, I really like it. :) Thanks to everyone for making my birthday extra special.
So here are a few things (maybe blog worthy?) that have been eventful in our lives over the past few weeks:
1. Josh learned that when you just can't get the bottom of your shoe cleaned off . . . hey, it might just be the rubber bottom hanging off sideways. Yes, time for a new pair of sandals (just in time for Christmas). :)
3. We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Pond family--played board games, visited, and ate and ate and ate and ate. Yummy!!!
Karston, Dallen & Cami having a good time!
4. Yes, this is totally random, but weird nonetheless--Josh and I both have matching blister type sores on our elbows. We both can't remember what we did to occur such pain, but the best we can figure is that some scientist came to get a sample of our skin for medical testing--remember I have super human strength and Josh can move objects with his mind?!?!? or we just rubbed elbows all night in our sleep?! :)

5. (this is not in chronological order--sorry) I saw the premiere of Twilight . . . at midnight . . . in line two hours before it started--the whole shebang!!! We really had a great time--even though I was a tid bit on the tired side. The movie didn't disappoint though. I thought all the characters fit what I had imagined (and it helped already seeing the characters who were to be in the movie as I read the books), but anyway--my only problem is . . . still . . . how could she fall so madly deeply in love with this weird kid in less than a week for no good reason?!?!!! I still didn't get it. I was hoping the movie would show this love story better than the book, but no, the same. I can't wait for New Moon--I'm a Jacob fan or a Sharkboy fan--either one!!! :) I do recommend seeing the movie a second time--it was much better--I was less on the critical side and a little more awake!! he-he
(I stole this picture from Patty's blog--she was definitely a crazy women this night--a Twilight maniac--it was really cute--she had her video camera out interviewing Twilight fans--Thanks Patty for organizing & making it a great night!!)

Finals! Finals!! Finals!!!! This semester is coming to an end, so it is the most stressful & busiest time of the year--projects due and exams--fun!! I even have an interview to do with one of my professors in Spanish--I'm not looking forward to that one. ugh!! Hola?!
I think that about wraps up what we have been doing, except the boring parts where we have been sick, deathly ill, sick, coughing, deathly ill . . . it has been that way for the last month, but hopefully we are all on the upward swing to a healthy happy holidays (I hope)!!!
