Our Weekend

We have had a busy weekend---it all started with Cami's b'day slumber party (you can see more of her pictures on her blog). We had five of Cami's best friends over for a good time. Saturday afternoon-- Cami was invited to Ginger's birthday party. It was at the roller skating rink. Remember those days at the roller staking rink--the birthday parties, the music, the lights, the neon lights, yes . . . it brought back lots of memories from my childhood. Though Josh & I both intended to sit out, we just couldn't resist and got our own pair of skates too. I think I know where I am having MY birthday party this year!!! he-he Cami was a natural, as she is with everything. Karston's legs were like jello, it was hillarious as there was no rhyme or reason to his little legs. :) He was getting the hang of it a little more by the time we left. Both the kids liked the skates better than the ice skates we had tried last month. It was sooooo much fun, sorry, but I didn't have my camera with me. :( Then, that night Kayden & I were able to attend the dance for our church--the best dance ever (well, that's what us, leaders, kept saying, but I think it worked, because the youth did have a great time). :) Then, as I came home excited to get in bed and sleep for once this week, in the middle of the night a little boy had an upset stomach--with some cleaning to do for Mom. Ugh! So, instead of attending church today, we sit trying to recuperate from our late election night, late-to-bed slumber party, and sickness (that hopefully, only Karston will have). Josh is leaving me again to go out of town for business, so I won't be able to function if everyone gets sick.Cami with her friends at the slumber party. Kayden making a move at the dance.
This guy could almost do it as good as I did--whatever . . . good try.

Why do they always throw up in the middle of the night? The stomach bug is the the worst...I hope your day of rest really was restful!! So how are you getting on with the new President-elect? I think it's finally sinking in for me...ugh!!

Please tell Cami 'happy belated birthday' for us and I hope no one else gets sick.
Hope Karston is feeling better. I think the kids had fun at the dance. You got a perfect picture of him doing that cool one handed hand stand.

I'm glad Cami had a fun birthday! I actually miss being at the stake dance- is that Kirk Sturgis on the cardboard? I know he has been practicing on the stage after YM. I'm sorry Karston is sick- we had that a couple of weeks ago, but only Emma and I got it :) better than everyone, while Adam is away!

Happy birthday Cami!! You really did have a crazy weekend. We have something going on over here too. NOT FUN!! Give Karston a big hug. OH and cute little Kay Kay shaking her stuff to cute. Let me know if you need anything.
At least he had some fun before the illness hit...that's what I figured when my boys had it last week. When did you get called back in YW?
