beach, sun, art, Disneyland, Reagan, oh my! Our trip to Cali!

We enjoyed our trip to California.  We were able to enjoy the sun, sand, and warmer temperatures, but we were also able to do much more.  Here is some of the things they took up some time in beautiful California:

Our hotel swimming pool was magical, especially since we hadn't felt warm temperatures in sooooooo long.

Kayden finally got some Jimmy Johns (her favorite restaurant that is not in Alaska).  It is really a family favorite, so I think we actually ate there twice.  :)

Everyone is all smiles when donuts are involved.

I wanted so badly to tour the SpaceX facility, but they don't let just anyone in......and Elon Musk didn't return my messages. Ha!

The Getty Museum was AWESOME, and it was free.  The best artist were included in the collection--Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and others.  It was amazing.  The views from the museum were breathtaking as well.

We ate here a few years ago, and we did not forget.  We made sure to find this scrumptious Mongolian grill again.  YUM!

Of course, we had to go to the Sunset Strip.  And, Donald Trump's star was alive and well . . . this time.

Bomb scare ..... so we had to leave.  We didn't get to go inside the Griffith Observatory.

Laguna Beach . . .

Karston was happy to eat watermelon.

Date night

Kayden was sooo happy to be at the happiest place on Earth!!  Disneyland!

Karston, Kayden, and I explored Disneyworld, while Josh and Cami went hunting for Rock-n-Roll Memorabilia.  Cami and Josh actually found where Van Halen had put their handprints into wet cement in the neighborhood where they grew up.

We met Darth Vader . . . and Captain Hook . . . and Chewbacca.

We visited the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

And our flight got cancelled, so we got to stay an extra night . . .
