Happy Happy Birthday!!

All of our kids celebrate their birthday the day before a holiday . . . so the day before Halloween, our little Camee was born. :) We are celebrating tonight & into the morning with a slumber PaRtY!! :) Camee invited her closest friends to eat some pizza & then head to Heritage Park. Corpus decided to move all their old/historical homes to one area---Heritage Park, and since these homes are o-l-d, they are famous because they are haunted!! The homes were actually tested on that show called Ghost Hunters. :) Anyway, each year for Halloween they have Fright Fest---with a haunted house!!! Camee has been excited all week to go with her friends to the haunted house. There were five girls . . . two knew right off the bat this wasn't for them (Lauren, Audrey) . . . two girls made it to the door (Camee, Jaqueline) . . . one girl made it five steps in (Adiah). . . only Camee's brave brother (Karston) was able to experience the whole haunted house with Josh & I. :) he-he But, just the experience of trying was a lot of fun. :) We saw a magician there, chemistry experiments, and lots of cool costumes. Corpus people should definitely check it out, it will be going on Saturday as well. :)


This morning was the literature parade for Camee's elementary school. They have to dress up as a character in a book. Camee decided to be the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. Her friend, Lauren, was Alice. :)

Camee wasn't the only one to celebrate an October birthday . . . Papa Ray came earlier this week to celebrate his birthday with us! Happy Birthday Papa Ray! & Happy Birthday to Aunt Ginger & Aunt Ally, sorry we weren't able to spend your birthdays with you. :(

And . . . the most IMPORTANT news of the week . . . there was finally WIND in Corpus. This year has been strange due to the lack of wind . . . but Corpus made up for it this week, and we were able to spend the day on Bird Island with many, many windsurfers who were equally excited about the amount of wind that day. :)

I love my Camee! We challenged her, that if she learned her multiplication tables, she would get a DSi for her birthday. She DID it!!! Yeah! & she is a very happy DSi owner tonight. :)
