When you move 4,000 miles because your daughter can't see herself living in Alaska or even going to college there, and you can't imagine ever being that far away from her.....and then she ends up getting engaged to someone who lives in Alaska?! ......Alaska will you take us back?!

Congratulations to Cami and Jared...soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Ballesteros!

Cami and Jared met at Colony High School in their Alaska History Class (I happened to have the same teacher for my AK history class too). Romance didn't blossom then, but through mutual friends they reunited soon after their senior year.  

Jared and Cami plan on making Austin their home while they attend college here.  We are thankful to have them close by, but also thankful our ties to Alaska will be very strong as Jared now joins our family.  Jared loves our Cami, and that is all we ask for in her forever partner.  😊
