Christmas . . . stop 1.

Santa knew (thanks to letters from Karston & Kayden) that we wouldn't be home on Christmas Day, so he arrived a little early at our home.  We got out of school on Friday (the 21st), so after playing with some friends, we decided to get some hot chocolate and look at Christmas lights.  When we got home, there was a note on our front door . . . yes . . . from SANTA!!  He had come that evening with all the kids' presents.  :)

The next morning we woke up early to head to downtown Houston to see the play 'A Christmas Carol' at the Alley Theater.   Josh used to go there with his school when he was a kid, and Josh & I went when we were first married.  It seemed like every Christmas we wanted to take the kids to see the play . . . and well, we finally got around to doing it.  We all got to dress up, and enjoy an amazing play.  The play that truly explains the Christmas spirit.  It was excellent!

We then headed to Galveston to eat yummy Italian food, and then ride the ferry to our next stop . . . .
