summer bucket list
The last thing on our summer bucket list . . . Aransas Pass! We might have only made it there about 45 minutes until they closed, but we did it, and had a lot of fun without the big crowds that are usually there.
We created a bucket list at the beginning of the summer . . . and, well, we got some of it done, but we added to our list as we went too. Karston, Camee, and Kay all got to spend two weeks--one week traveling with Memaw & Papa to Arkansas, and a week in Nacogdoches. Cameron & Kayden got to spend a week in San Antonio with the Payne family. Karston got to help mom set up her classroom, and Josh . . . well, he had to work still (we have to get him a job where he is off in the summer too). We had a great summer, that truly flew by---going to St. Kitts, riding the Vomit Comet, and visiting family. It was a really, really good summer. Now, we are a week away from school starting--I have already gone back, Thursday-Kay & Karston get to meet their teachers, and then bright and early the morning of the 27th---we'll definitely have to do a blog update with our kids on the first day of school.
