Space Shuttle Adventure

When I was in sixth grade, I participated in a NASA competition to name the next space shuttle. Space shuttles are named after ships, so I knew the name Adventure would win---I can't remember a lot about our project, except we made a newspaper announcing the new shuttle . . . space shuttle Adventure. Well, we didn't win. :( NASA named their space shuttle Endeavour, but I think I should get some bragging rights since Lego's named their space shuttle Adventure. :)
Karston wanted this Lego set for Christmas--pretty bad. We told him it was out of our price range (Lego's are expensive), but Santa came through for him. :) He must have been a really good boy. :) We spent the next three days putting this bad boy together---with over 1200 pieces & the age requirement being 16 and up!! Karston hung in there & slowly but surely the space shuttle took shape--& the landing gear, arm, satellite, etc. are all in working order. :)

That's awesome! I bet my boys would love to have that one. I always wonder if the age suggestions should be followed strictly. David wants the Death Star but it's about $500!
That's great Karston! Adiah still hasn't slowed down enough to finish her Harry Potter castle. She accidentally mixed up some pieces and quit and has not returned to it. I guess it can be very frustrating.
