Spring Break?!?!!
Spring BREAK . . . I don't know if I would classify our trip as a 'break', but we did have a lot of fun this past week . . . here is a little of what went down . . .
The week was spent in a mad dash to make sure everything was in proper order for my sister's wedding that was supposed to be on Sat., but due to the increasing chances of rain . . . it was moved to Friday . . . so lots of work to get things done early went quickly into effect, and let me say, I don't want to see an iron or ironing board for at least four weeks . . . :(
(below) this is a picture of me with my kindergarten teacher!! I was talking to Chris (my sister's soon to be husband) & I was telling him how my kindergarten teacher had gotten married when I was in her class & her name was Ms. Thornton (his name) . . . and then he was like what school did you go to . . . and I said Slack Elementary . . . and he said . . . that's where my mom taught . . . and I said when did she get married . . . and he said 1982 . . . and I said . . . that's when I was in kindergarten . . . :) weird huh?!.jpg)

(above and below) My parents have 14 grandkids, so my kids of course were in heaven playing with their cousins. Camee especially loved the babies above. :)
(above) Camee, Karston, & Kay enjoyed playing in the tree house and swing Papa built for them---and yes, a few kickball games were played on his softball field.

(above) Our trip started by following this car . . . um . . . around 5 hours!! :) Allison was headed to East Texas too, so we made the trip together--shared our kids---preserved our sanity---and had only one instance of car sickness . . . sorry Josh. :( We made a few stops, enjoyed the hill country (a mere glimpse), and ate at DQ. :)
I took the kids to see my elementary school---Trout Elementary. I went to 1st and 2nd grade here---Karston got a kick out of it.
